    Snowdonia…with SPA!”Graham from Cheshire.

    Review Rating: 5/5.

“We stayed at this property over the Easter holidays and would recommend it to anyone.

we were greeted with homemade bread, fresh eggs from (Paul and LLiwen’s own hens) and a bottle of wine – a good start that got better!

The property appears compact, but we were here with our two children (a bouncy 7 year old girl and a beefy 13 year old boy) and had ample space (helped by the open mezzanine, which the kids loved). The cottage had everything we needed, was beautifully maintained and in a wonderful location with very nice owners on site.

The hot tub was fabulous, as was the sauna – the only problem was it was so good that some of my more ambitious excursions had to be curtailed as I couldn’t get the wife and kids out of the darned thing!

We visited South Stacks (near Holyhead) to see the puffins- well worth doing if you are willing to face the 400+ steps, Bodnant Gardens (which were stunning) and Penrhyn Castle (the victorian kitchens were well worth the visit). Beaumaris was surprisingly upmarket, with some lovely shops (particularly liked ‘Sarah’s’ deli) and we had a go at crab fishing off the pier.

The highlight for me was going up into the mountains – the drive over to Capel Curig then down the Llanberris Pass and back up to Bedgellert before ending up in Caernarfon was truly stunning.

All in all, a fabulous break at a lovely cottage and definitely to be repeated in the near future.

    “Best holiday we’ve ever had!……………”

“An absolutely beautiful and tranquil retreat set in the foothills of Snowdonia. The cottage was wonderful with every amenity including the relaxing Hot Tub , Sauna, and well equipped Gym.

The owners are really lovely people and on arrival greeted us with freshly baked bread and fresh eggs from their own chickens. We couldn’t have asked for more.

This is a fantastic base for exploring the surrounding area of North Wales. We enjoyed lovely days out at nearby Betws-y-Coed, Llanberis, Caernarfon and the Isle of Anglesey. There is plenty to see and do as well as just relaxing in the beautiful surroundings.

We took our dog Megan and she had a great time with the many wonderful walks in the foothills. We are already looking forward to going back again and would highly reccommend this outstanding holiday retreat.

    ……………….Five Stars!!!”

Heaven! we have stayed at Beudy Mawr for two years running and cannot say enough about the Warm Welcome given by Lliwen & Paul. The facilities are second to none, as is the location, just perfect for that relaxing break in a beautiful part of the world.

The cottage has everything you need for a wonderful holiday, and the spa facilities are superb! Freshly baked bread & fresh supply of eggs are very welcome treat indeed!

Thank you Lliwen & Paul, we came as guests & left as Friends!

“Fantastic location, amazing accomodation, wonderful hosts!”
Reviewed November 3, 2011 My partner and I stayed for 1 week in October this year, we booked the holiday for a relaxing break. Upon arrival we had complimentary fresh eggs, fresh home made bread and a bottle of wine. The location is so peaceful and relaxing, the cottage was lovely and cosy, decorated tastefully and lovely and clean. The sauna and gym are great but the private hot tub was fantastic and became a daily treat which we miss so much since returning home. Our hosts Lliwen & Paul were lovely, so friendly and helpful and Lliwen so talented, they can’t do enough for you and nothing is any trouble. I had forgotten my costume to go into the hot tub but Lliwen came to the rescue, needed help eating out and Lliwen came to the rescue, directions, information about activities, train times, viewings and information on property to buy… every time Lliwen was there to help and came to our aid. Snoopy the dog is lovely and friendly too. The cottage is ideally placed and only a stones throw away for something to do. We went on the Welsh Highland Railway from Caernarforn to Porth Madoch, went walking to nearby Aber Falls, visited Beaumaris, Conway, Anglesey, Bangor and even went viewing property to buy with Lliwens help. We certainly will be returning and can’t thank Lliwen and Paul enough for the use of their amazing little palace and a wonderful relaxing break. Thank You !!!

    “A Complete Haven”
Reviewed October 6, 2011 This was a perfect relaxing weeks holiday. The cosy cottage is to die for, and your personal use of the Sauna/Gym/External Hot Tun add to this. The Owners Lliwen and Paul are most welcoming and we arrived to a bottle of wine a fresh Home-made loaf of bread and basic instructions on how to use the facilities (sauna etc). Other than that they will leave you to enjoy your stay but are always on hand if you need anything. You do need a car to get out and about as the cottage is about a 20 minute walk from the nearest village which has a small Post Office and Local Public House. There are some magnificent views so the car journeys are something to look forward to. We especially enjoyed visiting the King Arthur Labrynth and the Slate Works. All in all we had a wonderful time and have booked again next year.
